Sermon Series Summary-
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you."
-John 15:6
This series focuses on the idea that we will leave our "mark" on the people and churches we serve, and the Bible is clear that while we actively serve in our own generation, we can and do have an impact on the next generations that follow. Passing it on, as Psalm 145:4 says, "One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts."
What will we leave behind in each other's lives about being a Christ-follower? How can we positively shape our lives in whatever years remain for each of us?

Sermon Series Summary-
“These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel,” says Deuteronomy 1:1. Deuteronomy means “second law,” or a "copy of the law." Deuteronomy does something more than give a simple copy of the Law. The book offers a restatement of the Law for a new generation,
In Moses’s conclusion, he entreated the people,
“I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days.” (Deuteronomy 30:19–20)
“This” in verse 20 refers to loving the Lord your God, obeying, and holding fast to Him. That is life! Our relationship with God is to be marked by faithfulness, loyalty, love, and devotion. Follow along as we study the "pathways through Deuteronomy" together.

Sermon Series Summary-
John the Baptist came to testify, or bear witness, about Jesus. This witness's purpose was clear: to prepare the people for the coming light in order that they might believe. "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" -John 1:29
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen the glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." -John 1:14. May this Advent be a time for you to prepare for the coming of Christ, to invite him to dwell with you, to testify to his glory in your life.
