There are many different ways for those who feel a special calling to
worship and the arts to get more deeply involved. Each group is a great
way to nurturing your faith and give back to the worship life of your church.
Please contact Carol Carboni for more information or to inquire
about joining one of our worship ministry groups.
It is with great enthusiasm and joy that our adult choir (College age people through adult) is rehearsing weekly. We would love to have new voices join the choir as well as the return of our more experienced members. If you enjoy singing but don't feel vocally confident, come and learn vocal techniques. Contact our choir director, Sandra Russell. For more information, contact Carol Carboni. This is a fun group with a purpose.
A choir enriches our worship and deepens our faith. Our choir rehearses most Wednesday evenings during the school year and sings a couple of times a month during Sunday morning worship as well as leading in special seasonal worship events.
Pathways Praise Ringers
This group of coed adult ringers enjoy ringing handbells in worship and special events. These ringers bring a varied background of experience from a few years to a few decades of making music with handbells. If you are an experienced ringer or someone with musical background and would like to join this group, contact the director, Wynne Roos.
Our two adult handbell ensembles are made up of intermediate and advanced ringers. Music reading and handbell or instrumental experience is required for these groups. They meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 6:30.
Worship Singers
Our Praise Team is comprised of multicultural musicians who lead our worship service each Sunday (worship service begins at 10:30a). If you enjoy playing guitar, drums, keys, brass instruments, or singing praise and worship songs, we are looking for you. There is always an opening for more musicians. For more information, contact Carol Carboni.
Our worship band and singers lead most Sunday mornings with contemporary praise songs. This group is open to youth and adults who sing and/or play at an intermediate to advanced level. Current band instruments include drums, piano, keyboard, and guitars (bass, electric, and acoustic) and woodwind instruments.
Our drama team meets as needed throughout the year to prepare for seasonal and other presentations. Other worship gifts such as interpretive dance are encouraged and presented in services throughout the year.
Our orchestral ensemble is open to youth and adults who play wind, string or percussion instruments at an advanced or intermediate level. This group meets as needed throughout the year to prepare for seasonal and other presentations.
Broadcast
We are always looking to grow our team of Audio/Visual, lighting, and IT techs with livestream and other broadcast knowledge. If this is you, contact Carol Carboni. The opportunities are open to high school students and adults. The only requirement is an interest and desire to work with a great team of individuals.
Our technical arts team serves behind the scenes as a vital part of the church through directing the live sound, lighting, broadcast video, and projection media each Sunday.
